Trading Terms

 Boilers are all copper with bronze bushes, silver soldered throughout to approved designs or to customer's designs as requested.  Upon completion, boilers are tested hydraulically in accordance with the Southern Federation of Model Engineers specifications, to twice the stated working pressure.  A certificate is issued.  Boilers manufactured are pressure vessels only, no fittings are included.

 A deposit of 10% must be received upon placing the order.  A further 40% should then be paid before work commences and then the balance is then payable upon completion of the boiler.

 Postage, packing and delivery is extra. We would prefer it if you could make your own arrangements for collection.

 In the event of materials and/or partially finished boilers being sent to us by a customer for completion, we reserve the right to review our quotation should the materials or standard of work  in our opinion, not be of a sufficiently high standard.  In such circumstances the customer shall be notified before any work commences.  Should the customer not accept our revised quotation, the deposit will be returned together with the parts and materials received by us, at the customer's expense. 

Note:  If an outstanding balance has not been received within three months of the notification of completion being sent to a customer, the boiler and all associated parts will become the property of Cheddar Valley Steam and the deposit will be forfeit.
